As we continue to commemorate the Centenary of ANZAC, I would also like to recognise the significant anniversary of 100 years since the Battle of Pozieres and Fromelles.

This year we also recognise 50 years since the Vietnam War’s Battle of Long Tan.

Today, we pay tribute to all those who have served and sacrificed their lives, especially those who currently serve our nation.

Reflecting on these conflicts we are reminded of the impacts of war – the depth of our gratitude remains unchanged.
