Complaints about broadband have become the most common issue raised with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, yet the buck-passing between retailers and NBN Co mean that Australian households are constantly given the run-around in trying to resolve these problems.

Today’s hearing of the Joint Standing Committee on the National Broadband Network with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) has demonstrated that the Turnbull Government process for dealing with communications issues is simply not working.

FREMANTLE’S most vulnerable citizens will be hardest hit by Turnbull government cuts affecting the city’s community legal centre, warns Federal Labor MP Josh Wilson.

At a time when the public is understandably cynical and angry about the lack of integrity and transparency in government processes, it would be a welcome shift to see a Minister take an active interest in a matter as starkly harmful and as full of eye-watering maladministration as this.

Federal Labor Member for Fremantle, Josh Wilson MP, today slammed the irresponsible Western Australian state government for starting works on the Roe 8 Highway despite a challenge pending in the High Court of Australia.
